Founded in 1845 in Amakusa. The current head of the family is the fifth generation. Nationally designated traditional craft. Aiming to create works that are closely related to modern life while protecting tradition, they are engaged in pottery and porcelain manufacturing in Amakusa. With a staff centered around Mr. Yawa Kanazawa, who is in charge of design, and his two sons, they are pursuing the possibilities of manufacturing as a group. They are one of the representative potteries of Amakusa, the island of ceramic stone, a global resource.

It is comfortable to hold in your hands, touch in your mouth, and keep close by. Maruo ware aims to create tableware that can come alive in your daily life at any given time.
